FAQ’s
Can I pay for only a couple of sessions as opposed to the full 4 session rate of $100?
No, the fee for the camp is a non-refundable set rate.
What should I bring?
Quarterbacks must all bring a clearly marked regulation football that they will be responsible for keeping, all other position players need only to bring themselves.
What kind of shoes will I need on the turf?
Regulation football shoes will work fine on the turf. Campers should bring non-marking gym shoes with them each day in case we get moved into the field house by weather.
What do I wear?
You need to be prepared to dress for all types of weather that we may see. We will not sell any apparel at the camp, so it is your responsibility to dress for the weather. Our suggestion is to overdress.
What can I not wear?
We would like you to either wear your camp shirt or a shirt that represents your home school. If we have to bundle up, that may not be possible, but in most situations it can be done. Baseball hats, dew-rags, earrings, jewelry, or any inappropriate clothing will not be allowed. We don’t want to see your underwear hanging out of your shorts, so dress in a way that you believe represents your school and your family in an appropriate manner.
Will there be medical personnel/athletic trainers there to treat minor injuries?
We will have certified athletic trainers at all sessions. The facility is about 1 mile from a hospital, so in an emergency we can make proper arrangements.
Can I participate without a signed waiver/registration?
No, all forms must be signed prior to participation, and fees paid in full.
Can I attend only the Evaluation Day?
In order to attend the Evaluation Day, even if it is the only day of camp that you attend, you must pay the entire tuition in full. Rates will not be pro-rated for a camper that desires to attend just that night.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes, with the understanding that anyone that watches must remain in the home bleachers. Visitors will not be allowed to talk to any players, coaches, or recruiters during the camp. Bathroom facilities are located at the stadium and will be available for use.
What if I miss a session?
Financially, nothing will happen if you miss a session. You will simply be missing out on the opportunity to get better that day. There are no refunds or partial credits that will be given.
How can I pay for the camp?
Campers can pay by mailing a registration and a check to the PO Box, they may walk-up register the first day of the camp (although we would prefer you didn’t) or they may register online and pay via credit card until April 1.
Why do you need my e-mail address?
Simple, so we can contact you about any changes that may occur, and so that we can keep in touch with you as you prepare for the upcoming season.
What types of things will be done on the “Evaluation Day”?
Combine type activities will not be done. The “Evaluation Day” is simply another day of camp for us. The coaches desire to see the prospects run, catch, back-peddle etc... . We will not alter the camp for the recruiters; NCAA recruiting regulations make illegal many testing type activities that we will not be doing.
Will I be tested at the camp?
We will not be testing in a combine like atmosphere. The camps are designed to teach fundamentals, not test athletic ability. The camp is a non-contact fundamentals oriented camp.
